The biscuits hadn’t even come out when the first gasp went round the table. Someone’s gone and done the dirty deed – and you’re three clues behind. Downstairs at the Everyman, Halloween isn’t just about costumes and pumpkins – it’s about working out whodunit before the tea’s gone lukewarm.
What’s it about?
This isn’t your average afternoon tea. DBY Interactive are ringing the bell and inviting would-be detectives to step into the weird and wonderful world of a murder mystery, all set for Halloween. While you tuck in to the sandwiches and cakes, you’ll find yourself drawn into a live (and possibly deadly) game of clues, suspects and more than a few surprises. Think less ‘refined nibbles’, more ‘spot the liar’ – all while keeping your pinky up.
When is it on?
The Murder Mystery Halloween Special Afternoon Tea is on from the 30th to the 31st of October 2026. Enough time to round up your sharpest mates or outdo our kid for once and for all.
Where?
The whole thing kicks off downstairs at the Everyman Theatre, right at the heart of Hope Street, Liverpool. The perfect spot for a bit of dramatic deduction (and the odd devilled egg, if you’re lucky).
Tickets
It’s £42 a head, which covers entry to the event and plenty of scran to keep your energy up for all that sleuthing. For official booking and details, grab your tickets from the Everyman & Playhouse site.
