The lights flicker, the air goes cold and someone’s just knocked over your G&T. Welcome to Ghosts & Spirits, the Everyman’s latest event promising an unearthly night Downstairs in Liverpool this October. If the haunted past of Hope Street wasn’t enough, the Everyman are having a go at chilling your blood – as well as your drink.
What’s it about?
Forget Halloween fancy dress and limp horror films – this is the real spooky deal, hosted in the belly of Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre. The venue themselves reckon they’ll be chilling both your nerves and your glass, so expect a night of eerie happenings and grown-up stories from the city’s shadowy corners. No plastic cobwebs here – just well-poured spirits (and possibly a few real ones knocking about).
When is it on?
You’ve got one shot: 23 October 2026. Doors creak open for just the one night, so don’t go leaving it to the last minute like you did with your homework at school.
Where?
Downstairs at the Everyman – smack bang on Hope Street, surrounded by some of Liverpool’s most atmospheric old buildings. Handy for getting home afterwards if you’re feeling a bit nervy (or if the cocktails have gone to your head).
Tickets
Tickets are £32 each. If you fancy your nerves tested, get yours direct from the Everyman’s official site before they disappear into the mist.
