The glass cabinets at Lady Lever glint with treasures – but for one evening in January, you’ll have a chance to make some jewellery yourself, not just gawp at it. If your New Year’s resolution was to try something a bit different, you could do worse than a wire bracelet inspired by Edwardian bling. No experience required, just a steady-ish hand and a sense of fun.
What’s It About?
This workshop is aimed at anyone who’s ever admired the bracelets and bangles in the gallery’s paintings and fancy having a go themselves. Under expert guidance, you’ll handcraft your own wire bracelet – and you might even pick up the knack for homemade gifts (or just something to show off at the pub, sound).
When Is It On?
The event runs on Friday 15 January 2027, starting at 4pm. Good for a post-work wind-down, or a creative start to the weekend.
Where Is It?
The workshop’s at Lady Lever Art Gallery, Port Sunlight Village, Wirral, CH62 5EQ – not far from the train and with plenty of history to soak up before or after you flex your creative muscles.
Tickets
You’ll need to book in advance through the official Lady Lever Art Gallery event page. Ticket details are available on their website.

Let’s be honest, nobody is expecting you to knock out a Fabergé egg on your first try, but you never know – you might walk out with something boss enough to make the Pre-Raphaelites jealous.
