Someone in the crowd’s just managed a half-court shot during the warmup, and already there’s that steady hum in the air that usually means Liverpool’s up for something. This November, it’s not a gig or a derby – it’s the Super League clash at the M&S Bank Arena as Liverpool Basketball face the Caledonia Gladiators. Basketball’s stepping up on the Docks, and you won’t want to miss it.
What’s It About?
Professional basketball is making itself at home in the city, with Liverpool Basketball going head-to-head against the Caledonia Gladiators. It’s part of the 2026/27 Super League season, and for the Gladiators, it’s their first official trip to the M&S Bank Arena. Expect a sporting atmosphere with all the whistles, dunks, and buzzer-beaters you’d hope for. Whether you’re a lifelong hoops fan or just fancy trying something new that’s a bit different from the usual scran on Sunday, this promises a proper day out.
When Is It On?
The match tips off on Sunday, 8 November 2026. There’s no confirmed start time yet, so keep your eye on M&S Bank Arena for updates closer to the date – or maybe check the socials if you’re the organised type.
