Ivo Graham: Orange Crush

Ivo Graham: Orange Crush at the Playhouse – A Peel of Laughter in Liverpool

Half the city is weighing up what crisp packet to open next, but at the Playhouse in November, you’ll find Ivo Graham wrestling with a much broader question: what is the best orange thing in the world? Aperol spritz? Sunsets? Claudia Winkleman’s fringe? There’s only one way to find out, and it thankfully involves less vitamin C than you’d expect.

What’s it about?

Ivo Graham made his name as one of the most self-deprecating and quick-witted comics on the circuit. With ‘Orange Crush’, he’s bringing his trademark awkward charm back to Liverpool for a show that’s promised to be both sharply funny and oddly thought-provoking. The official line from the Everyman & Playhouse teases an hour examining orange-themed contenders for greatness – so if you’ve a soft spot for citrus or Strictly judges, you’re in for a treat.

When is it on?

It’s a classic one-nighter: Wednesday, 11 November 2026. Perfect for anyone who likes their big night out tightly scheduled. No excuses – don’t try and say you were washing your hair.

Where?

It’s all happening at the Playhouse Theatre, right in the heart of Williamson Square. Handy for a pre-show pint, and just daft enough to catch the bus without the conductor wondering.

Tickets

Tickets are £21, which might seem a tad more than your usual bag of Wotsits, but you’ll get more laughs for your money. Book officially through the Everyman & Playhouse website.

More information

Want to know whether the Aperol or Claudia takes the trophy? Check the official details and updates on the event website. Save the debate about Terry’s Chocolate Orange for after the show – we don’t want another row breaking out in Williamson Square.
