Blues fans, hope your lucky pants are washed and ready – this is it. Everton round off their league campaign with an away fixture against Ipswich Town that could have everything riding on it, from pride to survival, or even just a proper end-of-season knees-up. It’s matchday 38, and everyone knows the last day brings a unique energy. So, get the coach sorted, pack your scarf, and don’t forget a few throat sweets for singing Sweet Caroline (no judgement, la).
What’s the match?
This is the Premier League finale: Ipswich Town vs Everton. For those fresh back from the moon, matchday 38 is when it all gets decided – the last push, the final word, and for some, the last hope. Everton will be away for this one, taking on Ipswich Town in what promises to be a lively contest, whether you’re in the stands, at your nan’s, or squeezing into a packed city boozer.
When is it on?
The match kicks off at 16:00 on Sunday, 30 May 2027. Have your Sunday roast a bit earlier, or face the wrath of me ma when you’re caught microwaving it at half-time. Final-day drama and a late afternoon start – you couldn’t script it better, unless you’ve got a thing for pens and stoppage time chaos.
Where?
This is an away fixture for Everton. Ipswich Town are the hosts, so Goodison’s seats will be empty for this one, but expect the away end to be bouncing wherever the Blues travel. Check with the official club site for any confirmed travel plans or supporters’ coaches, and remember – always leave time for that unofficial away day chippy.
Tickets
Tickets for this match are available direct from Everton FC’s official tickets page. If you want a place in the away section, don’t hang about – these end-of-season games are popular, and you know someone’s cousin will be after a late spare.
