You can feel the buzz around Bramley-Moore Dock long before kick-off. A Saturday, a springtime breeze whisking across the Mersey, and the unmistakable hum of Blue shirts heading towards the waterfront. Matchday 33: Everton vs Brighton Hove at the new Everton Stadium – and everyone’s already debating the line-up before they’ve even seen the team coach pull in.
What’s the match?
It’s a Premier League tie with all the usual nerves, nail-biting and wild ambition Evertonians know far too well. Brighton Hove come looking to spoil the party, but this is our patch now – still smelling like fresh paint and, hopefully, victory. Expect a proper contest as both sides are pushing for every point with the season’s end on the horizon. Everton’s first full campaign at Bramley-Moore isn’t just history being made, it’s an ongoing event in itself.
When is it on?
The match kicks off at 15:00 on Saturday 24 April 2027. Bagsy your seat early and don’t leave it late for a pre-match pie. Nothing says ‘new ground, same Blues’ like a queue for scran.
Where?
Everton Stadium, Bramley-Moore Dock, Liverpool. If you haven’t checked out the new home yet, now’s your chance. It’s already got a few roars echoing off the Irish Sea, and matchdays are getting louder by the week.
