The Champions League group stage never lets you settle, does it? The clocks have just gone back, the Christmas ads are out, and while most of us are dreaming of a chippy tea, the Reds are packing their bags for Belgium. Club Brugge waits, and it’s anyone’s guess what drama is in store on matchday 5.
What’s the match?
This is UEFA Champions League group stage business, with Liverpool away to Club Brugge. It’s the fifth match of the group, so you can expect some nerves and plenty of talking points. By this stage, every point counts – nobody wants to drop the ball here, literally or otherwise.
When is it on?
The match kicks off on Wednesday 25 November 2026 at 20:00 (that’s 8pm for anyone still living by GMT). Bagsy the good seat on the couch early, or get your pre-match bevvy sorted because you know the build-up will be lively.
Where?
This one’s away, so the lads are off to Belgium, taking on Club Brugge in their own backyard. Not at Anfield tonight – unless you count the emotional rollercoaster in living rooms all across Liverpool.
