It’s not even 11am and there’s already a suspicious splodge of red paint in your little one’s ear. That can only mean one thing – the Pitter Patter Painters are back at Sudley House, swapping clean faces for festive masterpiece attempts that’ll be on the fridge till Easter.
What’s It About?
Pitter Patter Painters is one for the tiniest artists and their keepers. Sudley House hosts a Christmas-flavoured special of its hands-on workshop, tailored for children aged three and under. There’s no pressure for picture-perfect crafts. The point is to let toddlers daub, splash, and squidge paint however they please, while grown-ups take a breath, meet other families and brace for the laundry.
Expect a friendly atmosphere and a chance for the littlest guests to discover colour, texture, and the unbeatable thrill of making a proper mess. The Christmas twist should mean some seasonal sparkle, maybe even a hint of tinsel in the paint pots.
When Is It On?
The Christmas Pitter Patter Painters workshop runs on Tuesday, 2 December 2026, from 10:15am. A sound way to kick off a December morning and wear them out for the afternoon pushchair nap.
Where Is It?
Sessions take place at Sudley House, Mossley Hill Road, Liverpool, L18 8BX. It’s the city’s original Victorian villa-turned-museum, just right for a bit of culture with your chaos.
Tickets
The event is ticketed, so you’ll need to pre-book a spot for your little artist. Grab your tickets directly from the official page here: Book Christmas Pitter Patter Painters at Sudley House.

Let’s be honest: the artwork will last until someone mistakes it for actual Christmas wrapping, but the memories (and the glitter in the carpet) stick around a bit longer.
