Someone’s dropped their pint in the bar and already the room starts buzzing. That half-ten Friday feeling, a few shouts down the queue, and the comics lurking near the fire exit. If you love your laughs rapid-fire, and a room that always feels a bit too excited, Hot Water Comedy Club’s never let Liverpool down. Now they’re bringing Aaron Mc Cann up from the North of Ireland with his new show, ‘Momentum’. Worth getting it in the group chat before everyone else finds out.
What’s It About?
Aaron Mc Cann’s got a knack for wrapping the everyday into comedy that feels like a chat with your funniest mate. He’s built up a big following online and on the live circuit – stories about growing up, dodgy decisions, and those daft things we all do when no one’s looking. ‘Momentum’ is his latest hour, mixing new material with that trademark dry wit. Even if you’re not up on your Northern Irish references, you’ll recognise the type: quick, clever, not shy about picking apart his own disasters. If you like your comedy sharp, but never smug, this’ll be right up your street.
When Is It On?
This one’s set for Friday 6 November 2026, with doors open for the 9:30pm start. So you’ve got time to grab a proper chippy tea before heading over.
Where Is It?
You’ll find it at Hot Water Comedy Club, 17 Blackstock Street, Liverpool, L3 6ER. Easy enough to get to, and the bar inside’s decent and well-stocked.
Tickets
Tickets start from £20.00, according to the official venue. Book on the Hot Water Comedy Club event page to make sure you get your place. They do shift fast for Friday big names, so don’t hang about if you want in.
