Put the kettle on hold and swap the scissors for a paint pot this November – Sudley House is hosting a chilled-out creative workshop where you can meet friendly faces and learn the art of paint pouring. If you’ve ever fancied having a go at modern art that doesn’t need straight lines, this is your moment to shine. Or drip.
What’s It About?
Walk through the leafy gates of Sudley House and find something a bit different inside: a friendly session where conversation flows almost as much as the paint. This workshop lets you get creative with colourful paints, swirling and pouring to make patterns that are entirely your own. No stress, no exams, just an easy-going afternoon learning a new craft and getting to know other people from Liverpool and beyond. Ideal if your inner artist wants a break from watercolours and you don’t mind getting your hands (or elbows) messy.
When Is It On?
The paint pouring workshop is happening for one day only, on 13 November 2026. So if you’re keen, pop it in your diary and don’t let the date slip past – these sorts of workshops fill up quicker than you’d think.
Where Is It?
Sudley House, Mossley Hill Road, Liverpool, L18 8BX. Bit of an oasis if you fancy a wander around the house or gardens after you’ve let your artwork dry.

So, if your usual Friday is just a brew and some biscuits, this could be the shake-up you need. Don’t wear your best jacket – acrylics have a mind of their own.
