There’s nothing quite like chasing a toddler around the Natural History gallery, just hoping they don’t make friends with a dinosaur. But on 20 November, World Museum is rolling out a special welcome for the youngest Scousers (and their grown-ups) with Little World – Baby Week. If you’ve got a crawler, a cruiser or even just a very nosy baby, this is definitely worth a look.
What’s It About?
This one-day event transforms part of World Museum into a celebration of curiosity for little ones. The museum says it’s a “Little World full of Big Ideas” – expect child-friendly activities and a chance to explore in a relaxed atmosphere. There’ll be plenty for babies and toddlers to do, so if you’re looking for somewhere to meet other parents, pass an hour, or just marvel as your child tries to eat an educational toy, you’re in luck.
When Is It On?
Little World – Baby Week lands on Friday 20 November 2026. It’s a single day event, so mark your calendar (or scribble it on the fridge in crayon, realistic with this age group).
Where Is It?
You’ll find it at the World Museum, William Brown Street, Liverpool, L3 8EN – an absolute staple for Liverpool families and only a pram push away from Lime Street.
Tickets
Entry is free with donations welcome. For all the official details and to book your spot, head over to the World Museum’s event page.

One tip – don’t forget snacks, for you and the little one. Or just use it as an excuse to treat yourself to a cuppa in the café while the kids discover their inner explorer. You never know, you might get five minutes’ peace. Stranger things have happened in Liverpool.
