You can spot the queue down Blackstock Street, everyone pretending they’re not people-watching while they shuffle up for the next big comedy headliner. This November, it’s about stand-up with a bit of existential pondering thrown in. Kearse On Humanity arrives at Hot Water Comedy Club – so expect punchlines with an eyebrow raised and a question or two about the world.
What’s It About?
Kearse On Humanity isn’t your typical race-through-the-gags stand-up. The show dives into what makes us all tick, get grumpy, laugh at daft things, and maybe make peace with the fact that nobody’s perfect (apart from your dad’s roasties, apparently). You’ll get fresh material straight from the head of a comic who isn’t scared to prod society where it’s daftest, with a healthy glug of wit. It’s philosophy for grown-ups, filtered through a Scouse Friday night out. If you’re after decent jokes with a side of thinking, this one is for you.
When Is It On?
Just the one night: Friday, 20 November 2026. Doors swing open at 7pm, so get there early for a proper seat. No multiple dates or extra chances, so you’d best get your act together if you want in.
Where Is It?
It all goes down at the Hot Water Comedy Club’s Blackstock Market venue. The address is 17 Blackstock Street, Liverpool, L3 6ER – about as far as you’ll get from a dusty old lecture hall. No risk of anyone falling asleep here (unless you’re the designated driver, maybe).
Tickets
Tickets for Kearse On Humanity are available direct from Hot Water Comedy Club, booking link here. Prices start from £15.00, according to their official listing. If you fancy a spot, be quick – one-night shows usually don’t hang around long in Liverpool.
More Information
Full show details, accessibility info (if it’s added later), and booking can be found on the official Hot Water Comedy Club event page. Worth a look, even just to see how much philosophy you actually remember from school. Go on, surprise yourself.
