Finlay Christie - Champagne Casanova

What's On

Finlay Christie - Champagne Casanova

That moment when you’re debating which seat has the best chance of dodging the MC’s gaze, and the bar’s already filling up with people who pretend they’re just here for the lager, but really came to laugh their heads off. It’s another big night at Hot Water Comedy Club, and this time, Finlay Christie is bringing Champagne Casanova to Blackstock Street.

What’s It About?

Finlay Christie’s star has taken off in the past few years thanks to his sharp stand-up, slick storytelling, and comic timing that makes audiences feel like they’re in on the world’s daftest secret. Now he’s landing in Liverpool with a show promising both glamour (hence the champagne) and shambles (the Casanova bit). Expect tales of misadventure, modern dating, and observations on everyday life, with twists quick enough to keep even a Scouse audience on their toes. Don’t be surprised if a few local references creep in – Finlay’s the sort who knows how to read a room.

When Is It On?

Only one chance to catch this: Friday, 7 November 2026.
Show starts at 7:30pm, so probably best not to roll in fashionably late or you’ll get the full attention of the compere.

Where Is It?

Hot Water Comedy Club, 17 Blackstock Street, Liverpool, L3 6ER.
Right in the middle of the new Blackstock Market, handy for a bite before or a post-show debrief in the bar.
