Programmes being waved in the air, a half-time pie in your hand, the echo of someone in the crowd shouting ‘Get stuck in’. It must be a matchday down the dock.
What’s the match?
Everton welcome Nottingham to Everton Stadium for a Premier League fixture that falls on matchday 27. It’s a classic Saturday 3pm kick-off, giving you time for a bit of scran before heading down and a chance to soak up the atmosphere of the club’s new riverside ground.
When is it on?
The match takes place on Saturday 27 February 2027, with kick-off set for 15:00. It’s the sort of occasion that gets blue scarves out of every drawer in Merseyside.
Where?
The setting couldn’t be more Liverpool – Everton Stadium, Bramley-Moore Dock, right on the river. The new home has already given fans plenty to talk about, and there’s nothing quite like hearing Z-Cars ring out as the teams walk out.
