Well Funny Live! Comedy Nights at the Everyman

The last time Liverpool had this much to chuckle about, someone put gravy on their chips thinking it was curry. Well Funny Live! is back at Downstairs at the Everyman, with a promise to sweep away your midweek misery with a boss line-up of comedians, and they’re not holding back – this run stretches from April to December. Easy, la.

What’s it about?

This isn’t just any comedy night. Well Funny Live! brings together top-notch comics, rapid-fire punchlines, and that classic Scouse warmth we all know (unless the compère nicks your seat, then you’re on your own). The team at the Everyman say: come for the jokes, stay for the feelgood atmosphere and the rare chance to laugh out loud amongst fellow Liverpool folk who don’t take themselves too seriously.

When is it on?

If you’re one for planning, mark this: Well Funny Live! takes over the Everyman from 23 April to 10 December 2026. With dates spread through the rest of the year, there’s plenty of chances to swap the sofa for a spot of live comedy when you need to forget about Everton’s scoreline (again).

Where?

Everything’s kicking off Downstairs at the Everyman on Hope Street. If you haven’t been down those stairs before, now’s as good a time as any. It’s right in the heart of the city – so no excuses about buses.

Tickets

Entry will set you back £15, which is sound for live comedy in the city. To nab your ticket, book on the official Everyman site – best to grab them before they sell out and you’re left watching the highlights on your mate’s phone.

More information

For the full run-down on who’s playing and what to expect, check out the official Well Funny Live! event page. There’s no set age guidance, so if you’re thinking of bringing your nan, maybe check with the venue first – in case things get a bit too well funny.
