Mini Maestros: Saturday Morning Music at the Everyman Street Cafe

The Everyman’s Street Cafe is hardly ever this lively at 10am, but pop in on a Saturday and you’ll catch a different crowd. Instead of the pre-match nerves or hungover coffee chasers, it’s prams, tiny shoes, and the unmistakable sound of toddlers discovering what music can do.

What’s it about?

Mini Maestros isn’t just another sing-song. It’s a series of bubbling music sessions made especially for children aged 0 to 5 and their grown-ups. Expect live instruments, catchy tunes, and the sort of atmosphere where shaky eggs are as welcome as flat whites. Led by friendly musicians, it’s all about play, rhythm, and getting everyone joining in – no musical talent required from the adults, don’t worry.

When is it on?

It runs every Saturday morning from 26 September 2026 to 3 July 2027, with two sessions: one at 10:15am and another at 11:15am. Early birds or those with breakfast-avoiding toddlers, you’re covered.

Where?

All the toe-tapping action happens at the Everyman Street Cafe on Hope Street – just up from the Philharmonic and not far from a post-session playground dash.

Tickets

Tickets are £10 per session, and booking is through the official Everyman & Playhouse website. You can book your spot here. Kids don’t need a ticket if they’re under one – but check the details when you book, as things sometimes change faster than kids’ musical tastes.

More information

See the official Mini Maestros event page for updates, session details, and FAQs. If you need advice on where to stash the buggy, that’s your place.
