It’s nearly Christmas in Liverpool and you’re stuck behind a family of ten choosing Quality Street in Tesco. Somewhere, someone’s already lost a shoe. Must mean panto season’s back – and this year, the M&S Bank Arena is rolling out the (red) carpet for Cinderella.
What’s It About?
Cinderella is the classic tale of kindness, magic and that dead important midnight deadline. This glittering panto is promising everything you’d want from a night out with the family: silly jokes for the kids, a few for the grown-ups, costumes that’d make your nan gasp, and a pumpkin that’ll have to try pretty hard to stand out on the Liverpool waterfront.
The story is the one you know and love – Cinders, the original overworked hero, gets a bit of magical help from her fairy godmother. There’ll be plenty of ‘he’s behind you’, two step-sisters you wouldn’t want near your group chat, and just enough singing to get you in the Christmas mood. If you’re after pyrotechnics, laughs and more sparkle than your auntie’s favourite top, you’re in luck.
When Is It On?
The panto takes over the M&S Bank Arena from 12th to 29th December 2026. Ideal for families plotting something festive, or grown-up groups who just want to yell ‘oh no it isn’t’ without being judged.
Where Is It?
M&S Bank Arena, Kings Dock, Liverpool Waterfront, L3 4FP. It’s right by the Mersey, so you can make a full day of it – time for a mooch round the docks or a scran before the show.
Tickets
Tickets are on sale through Ticket Quarter. Don’t hang about – Liverpool loves a panto and you won’t want to miss out when the clock strikes midnight (or all the best seats get snapped up).
